About the clubWomen's Club Volleyball is a competitive organization which seeks to maintain and improve volleyball skills, meet others with the same interests, and to compete at the college level with other university club teams in as many tournaments as possible throughout the year. By being part of the club, you would have the opportunity to stay in shape weekly while having fun and practicing the sport that you enjoy! Attendance at practice is vital to the success of the teams. We stress that every player come to practice as much as possible. Tournaments are scattered throughout the semester on weekends and we, as a club, decide which tournaments we would like to travel to. Also, we host our own tournaments here in Madison in the fall and spring. Because this is a student organization, we are looking for highly motivated leaders, not only on the court, but off as well to help sustain the club so many have worked hard to maintain!! Wisconsin has been nationally ranked for the past five years, and with continued support we hope to keep on moving higher up in the ranks! DuesClub dues are paid at the beginning of the semester and have been about $300 for the traveling teams and ~$100 for the home team in past years. These dues cover hotels, transportation to tournaments, tournament entry fees, and uniforms. Practice infoPractices are held from 8:30-10:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Gym 3 of the Natatorium. The Natatorium is located at 2000 Observatory Dr. and is on route 80 of the busline. Please contact Becky Wachowiak if you have questions .
